        A: No, RoofDoctor.com is an independent corporation which selects qualified contractors for free homeowner estimates.

2) How does RoofDoctor.com save me time & money?

        A: The RoofDoctor performs all the leg work in selecting contractors for you. (i.e., company history, references, accreditations, licensing requirements, work history, etc.)  By doing this, you save all the time associated with looking through a phone book and trying to call during business hours.   RoofDoctor.com is always open.  You gain control of your project with your ownpersonalized specifications!!

            You also save money by securing multiple competitive estimates.  You receive the best price from the best contractors.

3) Who selects the contractor that will perform the work?

            A: You do.   You receive all contractors's estimates for your review.  Look them over.   Then negotiate the best price with whomever you choose.  The RoofDoctor supplies you with a handful of good, quality contractors.  We stay out the final selection process to maintain our independent, unbiased status.

4) What if I don't like the contractors selected by RoofDoctor.com?

            A: Simply reject all bids.  This is a no-obligation service.  Let us know via Email so we can serve you and future users better.

5) Do I have to leave my email address?

            A: No.   The RoofDoctor respects your privacy, however, you will not be able to receive an Emailed confirmation of your free estimate request if you don't. Your Email address will not be given out to anyone and will not be used except for answering questions.

6) What does the contractor do during a free estimate?

            A: The contractors come out to your house.  They climb on the roof to look at possible problems and to measure.  They may also examine current attic ventilation, and other common functions. 

7) Does the contractor need to enter my house during estimates?

            A: No.   Only if you want to discuss the bid at that time.  The ease of this service is to just request a bid.  You decide who you want to talk with after you receive the bids.  You don't even need to be home during the estimate.  (You may want to show them any leaks though)

8) Do I always accept the low bid?

            A: Not always, but sometimes.  You must examine each bid and decide which is best for you.   Make sure you understand what each bid includes before you make your decision. We help with specifications.

11) What will "personal project specifications" do for me?

            A: Specifications are written by a professional roofing consultant. Your personal specifications will mandate the materials, jobsite conditions, application techniques, warranties, liabilities, etc.   for your unique situation.  You will have all contractors bidding "apples-to-apples".  YOU WILL GAIN PROJECT CONTROL.
